The medical assistant who gave me the shot says, "This won't hurt like the tetanus shot.. (something something I didn't hear clearly) ..feels like your arm has been punched a couple times."
So I don't know if she said that the tetanus shot makes you feel that way (punched a couple of times), or the typhoid shot does (in which case, the tetanus would be worse).
But my arm has been really sore, compared to when I got my tetanus booster. Which leads me to wonder if my technique for giving intramuscular shots leaves my clients in pain for the rest of the day. I hope not.
