China Healing Home is a Children's Home for children with cleft palate/cleft lip (CP/CL) in China. They are a ministry of Love Without Boundaries (LWB). I can't put it in any better words than this post.

From my first trip to China, I can testify and say that kids with CP/CL are the "easiest" kids to fix, with a relatively simple and uninvasive set of two surgeries (sometimes one, if only CL). LWB's vision is that every one of China's 22 provinces will have a China Healing Home to take in children with CP/CL and fix them.
Why is this important? Because children with CP/CL are at high risk of malnutrition and aspirating (inhaling) their formulas [which leads to pneumonia]. Children die needlessly from these two causes not because the caretakers don't care, but simply because there are too many children and not enough time to be patient and slowly feed them. LWB's China Healing Homes have enough staff, specially trained to take care of these children so that each child receives the special care they need.
