adventures in composting

so I've tried composting for the last few weeks. It's looking pretty sorry for composting, though I must say that the pile of waste has decreased in size.

my brother and I just shredded a bunch of his school work to serve as the "brown" part of our "green and brown" compost mix. He had a lot of A's. I felt weird shredding his grades.

I hope this experiment works. Otherwise I'll have to find a place for a whole garbage can full of weird partially decomposed stuff.
