Simple pleasures

So the older children (foster care kids) put together a musical for their English class. They performed the Sound of Music and after the wonderful (slightly off tune :] ) show, the teacher celebrated by pulling out watermelon and banana.

One of the girls was telling me how they like to believe that swallowing watermelon seeds would cause them to grow watermelons within themselves. I remember thinking that way :)

Any ways, things are going well, for the most part my heart and mind is still with the occasional rustle from thinking about M and how that'll go. I'm doing well without, and only slightly better with. No one has moved forward, but I'm starting to come back to that idea of being there just for myself.

Going to the market now, into the world by myself!
