blue cheese cookies

So today the interns and Ronny and I made blue cheese cookies, very unintentionally.

without an oven we looked up a no-bake recipe for oatmeal cookies with chocolate chunks. we bought ingredients yesterday at the vanguard and then prepared them today.

when we opened the butter we realized that it was expired by about 6 months. Since we used a good chunk of money on time for the butter, we decided to cut off the mold and then continue despite the cheesy smell.

when we pulled out the cookies from the freezer they smelled like cheese and tasted like cheese. the chocolate version was ok, the raisin one was just cheesy.

so my appetite for dinner has been thoroughly ruined, which is fortunate, because the cook is off on Sunday.
